Alright, so Slant Magazine‘s brilliant, can-do-no-wrong blog The House Next Door created a simple yet genius idea: pasting links to sites worthy of frequent, sometimes daily, perusal. Since most of these links don’t inspire (or since the writers don’t want to spend the time/have the time to write an entire blog post on each of the articles attached to the links…I’m not totally sure) further analysis, there’s a list for each. Of course, I’ve changed it up a bit to make it our own, but I applaud “Next Door” for the great idea. I chose “For Your Consideration” as our header because it is the quintessential tagline during each and every awards season. It has slowly but surely been overwhelming awards/film sites all over the ‘Net, so I thought I’d use it for my own purposes and publicize the awesome articles in entertainment this week. Since attention (by manipulation?) is key to any awards campaign, look on, my friends.
