INK.

Think TIME. Slate. SlantGrist. Bits.

Only written by college students.

INK is about tackling new media and the digital world with an old-school sensibility exemplified by the inkpots and quills that served the world plenty well for millenia (and still work wonders for the wizarding world). Sure, we’ve never filled a fountain pen in our lives, but we’re more than happy to utilize the imagery to blog for you about the following Inkwells: Activism*, Literature, Movies, Music, News, Politics, Pop Culture, Sports, TV Shows, and Video Games.

And just who are we? Three friends in college with thoughts to share. If you’re questioning whether that’s enough to cut it, we suggest you stay around and see for yourself.

INK: Good enough for the Founding Fathers and Mozart. Good enough for you.

*Note from metapansy: “Activism” is a tricky heading, because the three of us have varying backgrounds and experience in the area of what I guess can be called “anti-oppression activism,” though we might not always agree on whether that’s even an apt phrase. Additionally, our subcategories—Age & Size, Class, Disability, Gender & Sexuality, and Race & Ethnicity—are not meant to be exhaustive or to undermine the entangled nature of privilege and oppression, but rather are created for ease of use in organizing thought and directing attention.
